If you live in California:
If you are pollution conscious and want to punish someone who has a badly smoking car or vehicle you can report them to the AQMD by submitting a complaint. The two numbers in the title are for South Coast AQMD and the San Diego county AQMD. The AQMD is part of the Air Resources Board.
Please have this information ready to report:
* Vehicle Type
* License Plate Number
* Date and Time of the Incident
* Location of the Incident
CELL PHONE USERS may now dial #SMOG to report smoking vehicles in greater California but this service is not available in all areas. Your call will automatically be routed to the proper air quality agency.
