Reverse Osmosis Water Filtering - Good or Bad?

It has been a few years since I last checked out home water filtering systems. In fact I had been promising to install such a reverse osmosis system in our house. We always have between 4 and nine people living in our house at all times due to our home business.

The reverse osmosis filtering system was the best from what I had seen and read about. I knew it was slow to filter the water and I suspected the filter or membrane would probably be rather expensive, but I thought those were the only disadvantages.

Now I know better. There are a lot more factors to consider and if I had to make a choice of filtering systems today, which I do, I will be more thoroughly examining the advantages and these new disadvantages I was not aware of.

I would venture to say many of you reading did not know all the stated disadvantages in these two articles. It’s best to know both sides of the story and often that is not told to you. I hope these articles make you more aware of your options when selecting water filters.

I’m sure there may be controversy about this, so if you have comments please submit them below, on on the article page. Click the links below to read the articles.
